This may seem like a strange topic for a chiropractor and health coach to write about, but stay with me. There’s something deeply human—and surprisingly healing—about this story.
On July 22, 2025, the legendary Ozzy Osbourne passed away. Just 17 days before, he gave his final performance—a reunion with Black Sabbath. He was 76.

His story is wild, painful, messy... and beautiful.

And there’s something in it for all of us who are walking a healing path.

🖤 Ozzy's Struggle Wasn’t Hidden

Diagnosed with Parkin syndrome in 2003, recovering from a serious fall in 2019, and managing years of addiction and chronic illness, Ozzy had every reason to give up. But instead, he started practicing Tai Chi, got sober (again), and kept making music.

He wasn’t just a rock icon. He was also a man of faith, a survivor of childhood abuse, a father and grandfather, and—believe it or not—an active member of the Church of England who prayed before every concert.

He didn’t hide his flaws. He didn’t pretend to be someone he wasn’t.

And in that rawness, there is wisdom.

🔥 Why This Matters to YOU

So… why am I writing about Ozzy?

Because healing isn’t about becoming perfect.

It’s about becoming real.

Those of us committed to wellness often fall into the trap of trying to “do it right.” We clean up our diets, set the goals, go to therapy, read all the books—and we think that if we’re just good enough, we’ll finally be okay.

But real healing requires honesty—not just effort.

It means admitting where we still struggle.

It means asking for help.

It means making peace with the parts of our story that aren’t pretty.

🌱 You Are Not Too Broken

Maybe you’ve made mistakes. Maybe you’ve been hurt. Maybe you’re still trying to forgive yourself—or someone else.

You are not too far gone.

You are not too late.

You are not alone.

What lights you up? What makes you smile, even for a moment? What helps you forget your struggles and remember who you really are?

That’s your medicine.

That’s your next step.

🤝 Support Makes the Difference

We were never meant to do this alone.

Surround yourself with people who see your strength. Who remind you that healing is not about pretending—it’s about becoming whole.

There’s no failure in trying.

Only in giving up.

Even the so-called "Prince of Darkness" figured that out.

✨ Final Thought

You don’t have to become a rock star to live boldly.

You can be kind, grounded, compassionate and radiant.

You can heal fully and rise beautifully—even with a past. Especially with a past.

Let’s choose to step into the light, together. 🌟
