Client Agreement & Policies
These policies (the "Agreement") govern your purchase and participation in coaching services, programs, digital resources, and any related offerings (collectively, the "Services") provided by TLC Coaching (also referred to as "we," "us," or "our").
By booking, purchasing, enrolling, or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement.
1) Coaching Relationship (Not Therapy or Medical Care)
Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to support your personal and professional growth. Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment of mental or physical health conditions, and it does not replace medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you need such support, please seek a qualified professional.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or participate in the Services unless a parent/guardian provides written consent and participates as required.
3) Scheduling, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals
Sessions are scheduled by appointment. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time so that we can honor the next client appointment.
To reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Rescheduling requests with less than 48 hours notice may be treated as a late cancellation.
4) Cancellations & No-Shows
If you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, you may reschedule without penalty. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice and no-shows may be charged in full or counted as a used session (depending on your package/program).
5) Payments
Payment is due in full at the time of booking or enrollment unless a written payment plan is offered and accepted. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the amounts due under your selected Services.
6) Packages, Programs & Expiration
If you purchase a multi-session package or program, sessions must be used within the timeframe stated at purchase. Unused sessions may expire if not used within that timeframe unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
7) Digital Products & Online Content
If you purchase digital resources (downloads, templates, recordings, or online materials), you receive a personal, non-transferable license for your own use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or share these materials without written permission.
8) Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and will treat what you share in coaching as confidential to the extent reasonably possible. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law, to prevent imminent harm, or to address suspected abuse/neglect as required by applicable regulations.
9) Client Responsibility & Results
You are responsible for your choices, actions, and results. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Any examples or testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not promises of results.
10) Refunds
Because coaching involves reserved time and/or immediate access to digital materials, refunds are limited. Unless otherwise stated at purchase:
  • Single sessions: refundable only if canceled at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Packages/programs: generally non-refundable once started; unused future sessions may be eligible for credit at our discretion.
  • Digital products: non-refundable once delivered or accessed.
11) Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Services (including worksheets, frameworks, videos, and written materials) is owned by TLC Coaching and/or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
12) Community Guidelines (If Applicable)
If your program includes a group or community space, you agree to participate respectfully. Harassment, hate speech, or sharing other members' private information is not permitted and may result in removal without refund.
13) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TLC Coaching and its owner, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
14) Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless TLC Coaching from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of this Agreement or misuse of the Services.
15) Changes to These Policies
We may update these policies from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or legal requirements. The most current version will be posted on this page.
